Kansiy Floral — Terms and Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply when you order products from the Kansiy Floral website. Please read them before placing an order.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits your legal rights as a consumer.

1. About us

Kansiy Floral is operated by Mary Thompson, trading as Kansiy Floral.

Business address: Studio 3, Ground Floor, L.J. Works, 1-7 Gastineau Yard, London, SW9 7FA

You can contact us using these details if you have a question, complaint or problem with an order.

2. Placing an order

2.1 Product descriptions and prices are displayed on our website. Please check your order and the recipient’s details carefully before making payment.

2.2 By submitting an order, you are offering to purchase the selected products under these Terms and Conditions.

2.3 After you submit an order, we will send an email acknowledging that we have received it. This acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that we have accepted the order.

2.4 A contract between you and Kansiy Floral is formed when we send you an order-confirmation email confirming that we have accepted the order.

2.5 We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance if, for example:

  • a product or required flower is unavailable;

  • we cannot deliver to the requested address or on the requested date;

  • the price or product description contained an obvious error;

  • payment cannot be authorised;

  • the order breaches these Terms and Conditions; or

  • we reasonably suspect fraud or unlawful activity.

If we have taken payment for an order we cannot accept, we will refund the amount paid.

3. Product information and substitutions

3.1 Flowers and plants are natural, seasonal products. Their colour, size, shape and appearance may vary from photographs shown on our website.

3.2 All products are subject to availability. If a particular flower, plant, container or packaging is unavailable, we may make a substitution of a similar style, quality and value.

3.3 We will try to preserve the overall appearance, colour palette and value of the selected arrangement. If a significant substitution is required, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you before fulfilling the order.

3.4 Flowers may be delivered in bud to help extend their vase life.

3.5 Some flowers and plants may be harmful if eaten, may irritate the skin, or may be unsuitable for households with pets. Please contact us before ordering if you require specific safety information. Flowers and decorative products are not intended for consumption unless expressly described as edible.

3.6 Customers are responsible for following any care or safety instructions supplied with the products.

4. Prices and payment

4.1 Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.

4.2 The total price, including any applicable delivery charge, will be displayed before you submit the order.

4.3 Payment may be made using the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment will normally be taken when the order is submitted.

4.4 If we discover an obvious pricing error, we will contact you. You may either confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.

5. Delivery

5.1 We deliver flowers throughout London, including Westminster, Victoria, Belgravia, Chelsea, Fulham, Clapham, Battersea, Putney, Wimbledon, Brixton, Dulwich, Greenwich, Canary Wharf, Stratford, Hackney, Camden, Hampstead, Kensington, Chiswick, Ealing and surrounding areas across the SW, SE, E, W and NW postcode districts.
Not sure if we deliver to your postcode? Please get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

5.2 Available delivery dates, charges and ordering cut-off times will be displayed on our website or agreed with you when the order is placed.

5.3 Any delivery date or time is an estimate unless we expressly confirm that it is guaranteed. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver on the requested date, but circumstances outside our control can cause delays.

5.4 You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address, postcode, recipient name and contact telephone number. We are not responsible for a failed or delayed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by you.

5.5 If nobody is available to receive the order, we or our delivery provider may, where reasonably safe and appropriate:

  • leave it in a safe place;

  • leave it with a neighbour, reception desk or mail room;

  • contact the recipient;

  • leave instructions for collection or redelivery; or

  • return it to us.

5.6 By requesting delivery to a safe place, neighbour, reception desk, hospital, hotel, workplace or similar location, you authorise us to complete delivery there. We cannot control when the item is passed from that location to the intended recipient.

5.7 Hospital deliveries must include the recipient’s full name and, where required, the ward name or number. Customers should check that the hospital accepts flower deliveries before ordering.

5.8 We do not deliver to PO boxes. Additional restrictions may apply to hospitals, military establishments, secure buildings and other controlled locations.

5.9 If delivery cannot be completed because of incorrect information, restricted access, the recipient’s absence or another matter outside our reasonable control, an additional fee may apply for redelivery. We will tell you about any fee before arranging it.

5.10 Responsibility for the products passes to you or the recipient when delivery is completed at the agreed address or authorised safe location.

6. Changes and cancellations

6.1 Flowers and other products that deteriorate or expire rapidly are perishable goods. The usual statutory 14-day right to cancel an online purchase because you have changed your mind does not generally apply to those goods.

6.2 Bespoke or clearly personalised products may also be exempt from the usual change-of-mind cancellation right.

6.3 You may ask to amend or cancel an order by contacting us as soon as possible.

6.4 We will normally accept an amendment or cancellation received at least two working days before the scheduled delivery date, provided we have not already bought specific materials, prepared, personalised or dispatched the order.

6.5 If work has already begun or costs have already been incurred, we may be unable to cancel the order or may deduct reasonable, unrecoverable costs from the refund. We will explain any deduction.

6.6 Nothing in this section affects your rights where a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not comply with the contract.

7. Problems with an order

7.1 Flowers are perishable and should be inspected and cared for promptly after delivery.

7.2 If flowers or another product arrive damaged, faulty, materially different from their description, or not of satisfactory quality, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

7.3 Where possible, contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide:

  • your order number;

  • a description of the problem; and

  • clear photographs showing the product and any damage.

Prompt notification and photographs help us investigate perishable-product complaints, but this request does not limit your statutory rights.

7.4 Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we may offer an appropriate replacement, partial refund or full refund.

7.5 We are not responsible for deterioration resulting from failure to follow supplied care instructions, damage occurring after delivery, or the product being kept in unsuitable conditions.

8. Alcohol, food and additional gifts

8.1 Alcohol may only be purchased by someone aged 18 or over and delivered to someone aged 18 or over.

8.2 We or our delivery provider may request proof of age and may refuse to supply alcohol where suitable proof is not provided.

8.3 Where products contain food or drink, allergen and ingredient information will be provided as required. Please contact us before ordering if the recipient has an allergy or dietary requirement.

8.4 Unless expressly stated, we cannot guarantee that products have been prepared or stored in an allergen-free environment.

9. Events outside our control

9.1 We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. These may include severe weather, flooding, fire, accidents, road closures, traffic disruption, courier disruption, strikes, public emergencies, government action or failures of utilities and communications networks.

9.2 If such an event affects an order, we will contact you where reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to minimise the effect.

9.3 If we cannot fulfil the order within a reasonable period, you may be entitled to cancel the affected order and receive a refund for products not supplied.

10. Our responsibility to you

10.1 We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms and Conditions or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

10.2 We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

10.3 We supply products for private and domestic use. Unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, we are not responsible for business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, opportunity or business interruption.

10.4 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;

  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

  • breach of consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Personal messages and acceptable use

11.1 You are responsible for any message you ask us to include with an order.

11.2 Messages must not be unlawful, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, obscene, harassing or otherwise seriously offensive.

11.3 We may refuse to reproduce or deliver a message that we reasonably believe breaches this section.

11.4 You must not misuse our website by introducing malicious software, attempting unauthorised access, interfering with its operation or using it for unlawful purposes.

12. Website content and intellectual property

12.1 Unless otherwise stated, the website and its original content—including Kansiy Floral’s branding, text, photographs and graphics—belong to Kansiy Floral or are used with the owner’s permission.

12.2 You may view, download or print website content for your personal, non-commercial use.

12.3 You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell or commercially exploit our website content without prior written permission, except where the law allows it.

12.4 We try to keep website information accurate and current, but minor errors or temporary interruptions may occur. Nothing in this section limits our obligations concerning products you purchase from us.

12.5 Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content or availability.

13. Personal information

13.1 We process personal information in accordance with applicable UK data-protection law and our Privacy Notice.

13.2 We may use information supplied by you to process payment, fulfil and deliver orders, communicate about an order, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.

13.3 When you give us another person’s details for delivery, you must ensure that you are entitled to provide that information for this purpose.

13.4 Please read our separate Privacy Notice for details of the information we collect, our lawful bases for processing, how long we retain information, who receives it and the rights available to individuals.

14. Complaints

14.1 Please send complaints to:

Email: Kansiyflorals@gmail.com
Telephone: +44 (0)7949 953 060
Postal address: Studio 3, Ground Floor, L.J. Works, 1-7 Gastineau Yard, London, SW9 7FA

14.2 Please include your name, order number and a clear description of the issue. We will try to respond promptly and resolve the matter fairly.

15. General terms

15.1 We may update these Terms and Conditions occasionally. The terms applying to your purchase will be those made available to you when you place the order.

15.2 If a court finds part of these Terms and Conditions unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

15.3 A delay in enforcing a right does not mean that the right has been waived.

15.4 These Terms and Conditions are between you and Kansiy Floral. No other person has a right to enforce them, except where the law provides otherwise.

15.5 These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. You may bring legal proceedings in the courts applicable to the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.

15.6 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
